Safety by Standard: The Intelligent Milk Tea Machine Trusted by 10,000 Stores
Amidst the continuous expansion of the new tea beverage market, stores are not only pursuing efficient output and stable quality but also facing increasingly severe food safety management challenges. It is precisely within this context that the Automatic Milk Tea Machine emerged, rapidly evolving from a novel concept in 2022 to a key piece of equipment for major chain brands in 2024, enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring flavor consistency.
What is an Intelligent Milk Tea Machine?
At its technical core, it is a highly integrated intelligent system based on microcomputer numerical control proportional mixing technology. This equipment can precisely control the ratio and dispensing sequence of 6 to 18 different ingredients (such as tea brew, milk base, syrup, juice, etc.), enabling one-touch automated production through preset programs. Its powerful compatibility covers four major categories: milk tea, juice beverages, coffee, and specialty flavored drinks, easily achieving standardized output for over 33 different flavors. This completely transforms the traditional manual “by-feel” mixing model, ensuring absolute consistency and efficiency for every cup from the technical source, providing core support for the scaled, standardized operations of chain brands.
However, the industry’s rapid development has also exposed a core issue: the market lacks unified standards for the production, testing, certification, cleaning, and maintenance of such intelligent equipment. The material safety, electrical safety, program reliability, and especially the cleaning and disinfection processes directly related to food safety have long been defined independently by various enterprises, sowing hidden risks for the long-term healthy development of the entire industry.
To fill this critical industry gap and lead equipment manufacturing towards standardization and normalization, Dazheng Coffee Group, in 2025, collaborated with industry authorities and upstream/downstream partners to pioneer and lead the development of two crucial group standards:
-
The Intelligent Milk Tea Machine Group Standard: Initiated and drafted in May of this year by Dazheng Coffee Group jointly with the Guangdong Quality Association and industry partners, this is the nation’s first specialized standard for intelligent milk tea machines. It sets clear and quantifiable requirements for the equipment’s electrical safety, mechanical safety, food-safe contact materials, performance parameters, and intelligent functions (such as recipe management, data traceability), establishing a clear entry threshold for manufacturers and providing reliable evaluation criteria for purchasers.
-
The Cleaning and Disinfection Procedures for Freshly Made and Sold Beverage Equipment Group Standard: To further extend food safety controls to the store operational level, Dazheng Coffee Group, in November this year, collaborated with the China Cuisine Association, leading tea beverage brands, and foodservice industry representatives to jointly establish these procedures. The core contribution of this standard is that it, for the first time, makes the “back-end process” of equipment cleaning quantifiable, verifiable, and traceable, ensuring that the output of every beverage is built on a verified foundation of cleanliness.

As an active advocate and practitioner of industry standards, the LEHEHE Automatic Tea Machine, under Dazheng Coffee Group, strictly adheres to the requirements of the aforementioned group standards from research and design to manufacturing. Its equipment uses food-grade durable materials, is equipped with programmable automatic cleaning programs, and features built-in data logging modules to ensure every cleaning operation is documented. It is precisely through this commitment to quality and safety that the LEHEHE intelligent milk tea machine has become a trusted choice for over 10,000 stores globally, enhancing operational efficiency while also providing a solid, safe equipment foundation for the globalization of “Chinese milk tea going global.”
The establishment of these two group standards marks the intelligent tea beverage equipment industry’s transition from “unregulated growth” to a new era of “standards-driven” development. It not only points the direction for product upgrades for equipment manufacturers but also provides a powerful tool for tea beverage brands, especially chains, to evaluate equipment and manage food safety risks, ultimately jointly propelling the entire freshly made beverage industry towards a more efficient, transparent, and sustainable future.
